Boise, ID : A two-vehicle injury crash on southbound Interstate 15 on Wednesday, July 5, 2017
On Wednesday, July 5, at approximately 12:10 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle injury crash on southbound Interstate 15 at milepost 96, near Blackfoot.
Dustin Stacey, 33 of Boise, driving a 2007 Pontiac G6 southbound on Interstate 15 when the rear driver’s side tire blew. Stacey lost control of the vehicle and struck a 2016 Ford F550, driven by David Tanner Jr, 58 of Blackfoot. Both vehicles rolled off the right shoulder of the interstate. All occupants were wearing seatbelts.
Stacey, his passenger Marianna Stacey, age 27, and an infant were transported by ground ambulance to the Eastern Idaho Medical Center. Tanner was transported by ground ambulance to Bingham Memorial.
The right lane was blocked for approximately 2 hours. This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
