BUFFALO COUNTY, NE : Iowa woman killed in Buffalo County crash on Monday, 13th May 2024

The Nebraska State Patrol said an Iowa woman has died following a crash on Interstate 80 Sunday afternoon.

It happened around 3:15 p.m. near mile marker 282, west of the Gibbon interchange.

NSP said a Kia sedan was traveling eastbound when it lost control and struck a semi trailer that was parked on the shoulder.

State Patrol said the driver of the Kia was identified as 20-year-old Mollie Quick, of Waukee, Iowa. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver was not injured.
