DAWSON COUNTY, NE : One killed in I-80 early morning crash near Overton on Saturday, 10th November 2018

One person is dead following an early morning wreck on I–80.
The crash happened at mile marker 249, about a mile East of the Overton interchange around 7:20 a.m., Saturday.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP), the driver lost control and over corrected causing the vehicle to roll several times. Both the driver and passenger were ejected from the vehicle.
The driver, Sarah Worden, 18, of North Platte, was killed. The passenger, Madison McKinzie, 18, of North Platte, was transported to the hospital.
NSP said seat belts were not in use at the time of the crash.
The accident is still under investigation.
