Memphis, TN : 72-year-old killed in a car crash in North Memphis Saturday December 3, 2016

A 72-year-old man was killed in a car crash in North Memphis Saturday night.

The crash happened at North Hollywood Street and Sanders Avenue.

Investigators said the driver of a Pontiac Grand Prix, a 72-year-old man, stopped and attempted to make a U-turn when he was hit in the driver’s side by a Toyota Corolla, driven by a 49-year-old man.

Police said the 72-year-old man was taken to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition, but he later died from his injuries.

Memphis Police Department did not say whether or not the other driver will be charged.
