Port Vue,PA : Former Duquesne professor Rubin killed in Princeton crash on October, Tuesday 10th 2017
A former Duquesne University professor was struck and killed by a cement truck this week in New Jersey, where her husband, also a Duquesne professor, was spending a year at Princeton, according to local news reports.
Leslie Goodrich Rubin, 62, was in a crosswalk when the cement truck made a left turn into the intersection and struck her at about 5 p.m. Tuesday. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to NJ.com .
Rubin was a former political science professor at Duquesne, where spokeswoman Rose Ravasio said she had taught alongside her husband, Charles Rubin. Charles was still a member of the Duquesne faculty but had recently taken a visiting professorship at Princeton for the 2017-2018 school year.
