Brooklyn, CT : 1 killed in car crash on Route 169 in Connecticut on Sunday, October 2, 2016

One person was killed in a car crash on Route 169 in Connecticut.

WFSB-TV reports that the crash happened around 4 a.m. Sunday in the town of Brooklyn.

State police say the driver was killed in the crash. He was identified as 36-year-old Randy Mayo, of Moosup.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
