WOODSTOCK, IL : Huntley crash sends 2 people to hospital on Tuesday, 18th December 2018
Two people were hospitalized and roads were closed for several hours Tuesday afternoon after a two-vehicle collision on Haligus Road, Huntley Police Chief Robert Porter said.
Officers were dispatched about
1:20 p.m. to the crash, which involved a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer and a 2015 Toyota Corolla, Porter said.
Two of the vehicles’ four occupants were taken to Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital, one of whom appeared to have serious injuries, Porter said.
Drivers were advised to avoid Dundee and Haligus roads in Huntley for several hours after the crash, according to a Nixle alert from the Huntley Police Department. The road reopened about 4:30 p.m., police said.
The Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
