Ticonderoga, NY : Two people injured when a all-terrain vehicle collided with a police car on early Sunday morning September 21st 2014

Authorities say two people are recovering after they were injured when their all-terrain vehicle collided with a police car at the end of a four-mile chase in the southeastern Adirondacks. Police in the Essex County town of Ticonderoga tell The Post-Star of Glens Falls that officers attempted to stop an ATV around 12:30 a.m. Sunday as it drove on Montcalm Street. The ATV's driver didn't stop, and police gave chase. The ATV traveled about four miles before colliding with a police vehicle on Route 9N. Police say the 34-year-old Ticonderoga man driving the ATV is listed in stable condition at the hospital in Burlington, Vermont. His passenger, a 24-year-old Ballston Spa man, was treated and released. No charges have been filed yet.
