A Lake Wales man died early Monday when his motorcycle crashed into a concrete barrier in Orlando, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

About 1 a.m., Landon Meyers, 24, was on the ramp from State Road 528 West to westbound Interstate 4 when for unknown reasons he lost control of his 2015 Honda motorcycle and struck the concrete wall, reports said.

Meyers was thrown from his motorcycle onto a grassy area, FHP said. He died on scene.

He was wearing a helmet.

The investigation is ongoing.
