CLARKSVILLE, TN : Crash topples telephone pole on Clarksville road on Monday, 25th March 2024

Clarksville Police officers were forced to shut down a road after a car crash brought down a telephone pole on Monday morning.

According to CPD, a vehicle struck a telephone pole on Old Trenton Road which caused the lines to fall across the roadway.

CPD officers closed Old Trenton Road between Nolen Road and Wilma Rudolph Blvd. to allow AT&T crews to repair the downed pole and remove the lines from the road.

Commuters were urged to seek alternate routes on Monday morning until Old Trenton Road reopened just after 8 a.m.
