BEACON FALLS, CT : 2 killed, 2 seriously injured during crash on Rt. 8 in Beacon Falls on Sunday, 4th February 2024

A third person has died following a crash on Route 8 in Beacon Falls on Sunday.

In an update Tuesday, state police said 25-year-old Andresa De Brito Alves, of Bridgeport, died. She was a passenger in one of the vehicles.

State police said they responded at 3:30 p.m. to the northbound side of the highway near Exit 23.

The two-car crash injured five people, including four from one car vehicle who suffered severe injuries.
