Colorado Springs, CO : Pedestrian killed near Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs on Sunday night, April 3, 2016

A pedestrian died in a Sunday night wreck near the Olympic Training Center, Colorado Springs police said.

Police say they were called to Boulder Street near Union Boulevard just before 7 p.m. and arrived to find a pedestrian trapped under a vehicle. The man, whose name wasn't released, was dead when police arrived, officers said.

"Alcohol and/or excessive speed are not believed to be factors in the accident," police said on their website.

Police cordoned off a stretch of Boulder Street from Union to Farragut after the incident.

Police said details on the crash would be released after an investigation is complete. That probe left a block of Boulder Street at Union closed to traffic Sunday night.
