Cheyenne County, KS : Garden City man injured in crash in Kansas Highway 27 in Cheyenne County on Friday, 27th July 2018

A 61-year-old Garden City man was injured when he lost control of the semitrailer he was driving on Kansas Highway 27 in Cheyenne County.

Glen Travers was southbound on K27 at about 12:45 a.m. Friday, when his vehicle went off the road and overturned, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report.

The crash occurred about five miles north and two miles west of St. Francis.

Travers was transported to Cheyenne County Hospital in St. Francis. The hospital declined to provide information on Travers’ injuries or whether he was treated there.

Travers was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
