Birmingham, AL : High speed police pursuit ends with fiery crash early Sunday morning on October 5, 2014

A police chase in Birmingham ended with a fiery crash early Sunday morning. The crash happened on the elevated portion of Interstate 20/59 about 7 AM. Police clocked the driver at 117 miles an hour. He crashed near the interchange of I 20/59 and I 65. Our Alabama's 13 news crew was the only TV station at the scene. Alabama's 13 photojournalist Matt Glasscock shot video of police pulling a gun from the vehicle. No word yet on who the driver is, where he was going or why he was running from police.
