ERIE, PA : Boy injured in east Erie bus-pedestrian accident on Tuesday, 18th October 2016

A 15-year-old boy suffered moderate injuries when he stepped in front of an EMTA bus and was struck Tuesday afternoon in the 800 block of East 28th Street, Erie police said.

Police said the bus was heading east on East 28th Street when the boy stepped from a sidewalk into the eastbound lane and was struck. The boy suffered cuts and abrasions, and was taken to UPMC Hamot for treatment, authorities said.
