MONROE CITY, MO : Columbia man injured in Monroe City crash on Sunday, 22nd July 2018

A Columbia, Mo., man has suffered injuries in a one-vehicle crash near Monroe City.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Brian D. Arp, 45, was driving his 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser southbound on Route J 5 miles southeast of Monroe City when at 10:30 p.m. his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road in a curve and struck an embankment. Arp's vehicle overturned and came to rest on the driver's side on the center line of the road.

The Highway Patrol reported that Arp was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries. He was treated at the scene. His vehicle was totaled.

The Highway Patrol was assisted by Monroe City Fire, Monroe City Ambulance and the Ralls County Sheriff's Department.
