CAMBRIDGE, MA : Community mourns teenage girl killed on sidewalk on Wednesday, 25th July 2018

A Massachusetts community is mourning the loss of a 15-year-old girl who died after she was pushed to the ground and hit her head.

WBZ-TV reports a vigil is planned for Richelle Robinson on Wednesday night in Cambridge.

Police say the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School student was walking to a friend’s house Sunday when she was shoved. Robinson was hospitalized in critical condition and succumbed to her injuries Monday.

Robinson’s family said in a statement the teen was a smart student who had planned to become an EMT.

No arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate.
