Rapid City,SD : Biker who died in Box Elder crash on may, friday 12th 2017

A 76-year-old man who died in a motorcycle crash in Box Elder on Friday has been identified as Randall Davis. He is the second person to die in a motorcycle accident in Pennington County in two weeks.

Davis, of Hermosa, was driving a Harley-Davidson FLD north on Elk Vale Road at 5:38 p.m. when the accident occurred, according to the state Department of Public Safety. Davis turned east on the Interstate 90 on-ramp at Exit 60, lost control of his motorcycle along the curve and struck the curb, investigators said.

Davis, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle and died at a Rapid City hospital.

On May 6, a Black Hawk man died after crashing his Harley-Davidson into a pickup west of Rapid City.
