Sarepta, LA : 79-year-old Margie Juckett killed in a single-vehcile car crash in north Webster Parish on Wednesday night, February 24, 2016

A Sarepta woman was killed in a single-vehcile car crash late Wednesday night.

Louisiana State Police say it happened just before just before midnight on Percy Burns Road in north Webster Parish.

Police say 79-year-old Margie Juckett of Sarepta was traveling north on Percy Burns Road in a 2006 Saturn Ion, when for unknown reasons, exited roadway and struck a culvert.

Troopers believe that Juckett suffered an unknown medical problem prior to the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Webster Parish Coroner.

Impairment is not suspected in this crash, but a toxicology sample was obtained from Juckett and will be submitted for analysis.

The crash remains under investigation.
