Kennett, MO : Two children hurt in U.S. 412 crash on Saturday, November 12th 2016

A crash in Pemiscot county left two children hurt Saturday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at around 4:42 p.m. on U.S. 412 near Route B, two miles west of Hayti. Troopers say a car driven by 60-year-old Kinsley Bateman, of Hayti, was traveling west when the driver made a U turn. Bateman’s vehicle turned and struck a westbound van driven by 26-year-old Bridget Moore of Kennett.

The crash left two children from Moore’s vehicle hurt—one 4-year-old and one 5-year-old. Both were taken by ambulance to Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
