KINGFISHER, OK : Deadly high-speed crash under investigation in Kingfisher driver pinned beneath vehicle medical examiner on Tuesday, 12th December 2023

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Kingfisher.

The collision happened Tuesday around 10:39 on E0790 Road and N2855 Road.According to OHP, a 2021 Polaris Razor driven by 52-year-old John E. Mercer was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed when the driver failed to negotiate the curve in the road.

OHP said the vehicle departed the roadway at the curve and rolled 1/4 time, partially ejecting the driver and pinning him beneath the vehicle.
