Sparks,NV : Driver killed in a head-on crash on Sunday, July 9, 2017

The driver killed in a head-on crash last week on Interstate 80 near Pyramid Way has been identified as a 28-year-old Reno man, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.
The driver of a black 2003 Cadillac CTS was killed when his sedan struck a semi truck head-on in the early morning NHP reported.
The driver has been identified as Omar Madera-Meza of Reno. NHP said in a statement Monday that the preliminary investigation indicates his sedan got onto the interstate from the eastbound off-ramp.
The Cadillac was driving west on the eastbound side of I-80 when it collided with the semi truck, which was pulling two tanker trailers.
Troopers say Madera-Meza was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The driver of the semi sustained only minor injuries and was treated on scene.
