DUNMORE, PA : State police ID fatal crash victim on Saturday, 1st October 2016

State police have identified a man killed in a Saturday night car crash as David Tobin, 24, of Jefferson Township.

Tobin was a passenger in the 2002 Acura RSX.

The driver, Cody Kizer, 24, of Lake Ariel, was taken by ambulance to Geisinger Community Medical Center, where he was treated for moderate injuries and released Sunday, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

State police have not said what led to the crash just before 8 p.m. on the ramp leading from Route 84 east to Interstate 81 north.

However, they said the vehicle rolled several times and crashed into a concrete barrier. State police also say neither man wore a seat belt.
