BOCA RATON, FL : Motorcyclist killed in crash west of Boca Raton on Thursday, 9th April, 2020

A 31-year-old Boca Raton man, who spent most of the last decade working his way up a local building firm, died Thursday evening in a motorcycle crash west of the city, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office authorities said.

Michael Osterling was riding a 2016 Harley-Davidson north on Lyons Road when he lost control shortly before 6 p.m. near Escondido Way.

Authorities say the motorcycle hit a curb at a curve in the road. Osterling was thrown from the bike and into a sign in the median.

The report indicates that both speed and the use of alcohol or drugs are being investigated, according to the report, though it did not elaborate.
