Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook released the identity Saturday of a Millcreek man who died from injuries in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon on Peach Street near the intersection of West Grandview Boulevard in Millcreek Township.

The victim was identified as John Naylor, 67, of Millcreek.

Cook ruled the crash as accidental. An autopsy was completed Saturday, but Naylor's cause of death is pending an investigation, Cook said.

Friday's crash occurred just before 2 p.m.

Naylor was extricated from his vehicle, a Ford Focus, and taken to UPMC Hamot, where he died at 3:43 p.m. while undergoing emergency treatment, Cook said.

Police said a Chevy Monte Carlo was heading south on Peach Street when it collided broadside with Naylor's Ford Focus, which had proceeded eastbound from a stop sign at West Grandview Boulevard and Peach Street.
