Medina, OH : One hurt in car-buggy crash in Chatham on Monday, September 4, 2017
The driver of a vehicle that clipped an Amish buggy on Chatham Road near Richmond Road was transported to a local hospital Monday morning.
The occupants of the buggy and a horse were not injured, according to the Medina post of the Ohio Highway Patrol.
Patrol dispatcher Angus McCormack said Tuesday the crash call came in at 8:18 a.m. Monday.
He said a vehicle traveling on Chatham Road clipped the buggy while attempting to pass it.
The driver was transported via helicopter to the trauma center at Lodi Hospital for back pain.
Names of those involved were not available Tuesday, McCormack said.
