Crossville, TN : A single-vehicle crash in a Crossville on Sunday, November, 5th 2017
A Cumberland County woman was flown to a regional trauma center after she flipped her car over in a single-vehicle crash in a Crossville shopping center around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
Ronda Raechelle Corley, 36, 16588 Hwy. 70 N, was identified as the driver of the vehicle and was taken by helicopter to The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville with “incapacitating injuries,” according to Crossville Police Ptl. Elliot Baz’s report.
Police were dispatched to Cumberland Plaza off Elmore Rd. and arrived to find Corley’s 2014 Volkswagen Beetle resting on its top with Corley trapped inside.
Crossville Fire Department was called to the scene to extricate Corley who was then rushed by ambulance to Cumberland Medical Center before being flown to UT.
No information on how the crash occurred is available. A search warrant authorizing a blood draw was executed and depending on the results of the blood/alcohol test, charges could be pending.
