Galveston, TX : Man died and child injured after a collision on Texas 12 Saturday afternoon, December 5, 2015

A man died and a child was airlifted after a collision on Texas 12 Saturday afternoon, according to the Vidor Police Department.
The wreck involved at least one car and an SUV near the intersection of Texas 12 and Linscomb Road at about 2:30 p.m.
Four people were taken to local hospitals by ambulance and a child was airlifted to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, police said.
The identity of the man killed in the collision has not yet been released.
Police said more information will be released on Monday.
