BEDFORD, NH : Man died of smoke inhalation, multiple injuries in crash on Thursday, 29th March 2018
Authorities say a man died of smoke and heat inhalation, thermal injuries, and multiple blunt-impact injuries in a vehicle crash and fire at a New Hampshire tollbooth.
WMUR-TV reports authorities say 39-year-old Caleb Scofield, of Bow, died in the crash Wednesday at the Bedford Toll Plaza on the Everett Turnpike.
Police are still investigating the crash.
Aerial footage showed the burned wreckage of a car in front of the unmanned tollbooth that was also damaged in the fire.
