JO DAVIESS COUNTY, IL : 5 injured in single vehicle crash in JoDaviess County on Tuesday, 16th July 2024

Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office said three people were injured after a driver swerved to avoid a construction truck.

The driver has been cited for speeding, reckless driving, defective brakes, failure to wear a seatbelt, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving an uninsured vehicle.

Dylan Dupree, 28, of Galena lost control of the vehicle at about 3:30 p.m. Friday at 604 N. Blackjack Road outside of Galena, according to the crash report.
