Harmans, MD : Two people seriously injured in three-vehicle collision near Harmans early Thursday morning, March 31, 2016
Two people sustained injuries in a crash early Thursday morning on Baltimore Washington Parkway near Harmans, an Anne Arundel County fire department spokesman said.
Firefighters were dispatched just before 2:15 a.m. to the area of Baltimore Washington Parkway south near Route 100 for a report of a vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer, county fire department spokesman Capt. Russ Davies said.
Responding firefighters found a three vehicle pileup in which a sedan rear ended a tractor-trailer before it was struck by a third vehicle, Davies said.
A man estimated to be in his 20s was taken by paramedics to the R. Adam Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious injuries and a woman believed to be in her 20s was taken to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center with minor injuries, he said.
