Hennessey, OK : Silver alert subject killed in Kingfisher County crash early Thursday morning, July 28, 2016

A 90-year-old Stillwater man who was the subject of a silver alert issued by the Payne County Sheriff's Office died early Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash east of Hennessey.

Robert Reichman was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Highway 51, half a mile east of Banner Road and 6 miles east of Hennessey, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report. The crash occurred sometime between 1 and 2 a.m.

Reichman was westbound on Highway 51 in a 2011 Toyota Tacoma when the vehicle departed the roadway to the north, striking a gravel embankment, according to the report. The truck overturned a quarter of a time, coming to rest on the passenger's side.

Both the cause of the collision and Reichman's condition remain under investigation.

A silver alert for Reichman was issued at 12:34 a.m., stating he was last seen leaving the area of Serenity Lane and Highway 51 in Payne County.

According to the alert, Reichman suffered from severe malnutrition and dementia.

The silver alert was canceled at 3:42 a.m.
