Tallahassee, FL : Tallahassee man dies in Suwannee crash on Sunday, November, 26th 2017

A Tallahassee man died Monday from injuries sustained in a Sunday single-car crash in Suwannee County, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

Emojah Mullings, 19, died in the accident. Three others in the car had minor injuries, FHP stated in a news release.

The crash occurred at 4:02 p.m. on Interstate 10. Abayomi Maddox, 19, of Tallahassee, was driving a 2001 Toyota Camry west when she traveled off the road onto the north shoulder. The car overturned and hit several stumps and a fence.

Mullings was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car. Mullings was taken to UF Health Shands Hospital and died Monday afternoon.

Maddox and passengers Devontay Smathers, 20, and Vincent Simon, 19, both of Tallahassee, were treated for minor injuries.
