Plattsburgh, NY : Both drivers injured in Head-on crash in Plattsburgh on Friday October 9 2015

Police say two cars crashed head-on in Plattsburgh, New York, Friday night just after 7 p.m. The cars wrecked on Margaret Street not far from downtown, in between Robison Terrace and Elm Street.One of the cars ended up well off the road, on a person's lawn. The other, a blue vehicle was smashed in the front end. Police closed the road for hours as they investigated. An accident reconstruction team was called to the scene.Both drivers, both men, were taken to the hospital in Plattsburgh. WPTZ has learned one of the victims was transferred to University of Vermont Medical Center's Fletcher Allen Campus.
