Troopers with South Carolina Highway Patrol said a pedestrian was hit and killed on a highway in Greenville early Thursday morning,.
According to Highway Patrol, around 3:40 a.m., a pedestrian was walking in the roadway on Highway 25 when a car hit them.
Troopers said the pedestrian was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital where they passed away.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office identified the pedestrian as 53-year-old Kevin James Calvert.
