Wayne County, MI : 2 killed in Wayne County crash identified on Monday, 5th June 2023

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has identified two people killed in a vehicle crash on Route 52 Monday afternoon.

According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, the two people killed in the crash were Larry Smith and Brenda Smith. The Smiths were both in a vehicle that was pulling out of a driveway along the Crum area of Route 52 when it was struck by a southbound vehicle, according to the Kermit Volunteer Fire Department.

The Kermit VFD also told WOWK 13 News on Monday that two people in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries and would be released from the hospital.
