Shreveport, LA : Motorcyclist dies in crash with car in DeSoto Parish on Saturday night September 27th 2014

State police say a Converse man died Saturday night in a motorcycle crash in DeSoto Parish. Authorities say 57-year-old Robert Walton was thrown from his Harley Davidson motorcycle when it struck a car that pulled into his path on U.S. Highway 171 at about 9:15 p.m. Walton died at the scene. State police say the driver of the car, 21-year-old Celeste Brewer of Stonewall, was not injured. The accident remains under investigation.
