Pender County, NC :Driver injured in single-car crash on Highway 17 North on Tuesday night ,August 25th 2015

One person was injured in a single-car crash on Highway 17 North Tuesday night.

Highway Patrol Troopers said the female driver was headed north on 17 near Scott's Hill when the accident occurred.

The 55-year-old woman ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, flipped, and was ejected from the vehicle. She was taken to the hospital by EMS.

The driver has not been identified and the extent of her injuries is not known.
