One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Nemaha County, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 4:22 p.m. at the junction of US-36 and K-187 highways.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse was westbound on US-36 when it swerved to miss a 2005 Honda Odyssey that was stopped to turn left onto southbound K-187. The Mitsubishi lost control and struck an eastbound 2005 Toyota 4Runner.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, Emily A. Flemmer, 29, of Summerfield, was taken to Nemaha Valley Community Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
The Toyota’s driver, Andrew M. Olberding, 29, of Seneca, was reported possibly injured. A passenger, Keith C. Olberding, 61, also of Seneca, wasn’t injured.
Each of the three was wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.
The patrol said the Honda wasn’t struck by either vehicle.
