HUMBOLDT, AZ : Yavapai County authorities: 2 dead in rollover in Humboldt on Thursday, January 19th 2017

Yavapai County authorities say a man and woman are dead after a rollover crash in Humboldt.

County sheriff’s officials identified the two Thursday as 44-year-old James Wayne Collins of Dewey and 46-year-old Rhonda Kay Hudson of Prescott Valley.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the scene around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday and emergency medical personnel determined the man and woman had already died.

It’s still unclear who was driving the car.

Authorities say the vehicle left the roadway and struck some rocks and that apparently caused the vehicle to roll.

It crashed through a fence before coming to rest on its roof.

Collins and Hudson weren’t wearing seat belts and were ejected from the vehicle.

Authorities say speed is considered a likely factor in the crash and toxicology test results are pending.
