Hermosa,SD : Woman dies in crash near Hermosa on February, Saturday 3rd 2018

A 47-year-old woman has died of injuries suffered in a one-vehicle crash Saturday morning about 4 miles east of Hermosa.

The 44-year-old man driving the vehicle and another passenger, a 34-year-old man, both received life-threatening injuries, according to the South Dakota Highway Patrol.

The names of the people involved are not being released, pending notification of families.

According to the highway patrol, a 2006 Chevrolet Uplander was westbound on Highway 40 at 11:30 a.m. when the vehicle drifted off the roadway and the driver lost control. The vehicle went across both lanes of the roadway, into the south ditch and rolled.
