Wilmington Township, PA : Fatal crash victim identified on Tuesday, 9th October 2018

A motorcyclist who was killed in a collision with a pickup truck in Wilmington Township Tuesday night has been identified as William A. Baer, 49, of New Wilmington.

In addition, state police have charged the driver of the pickup, Abram Weidenheimer, 39, of New Wilmington, with two counts of reckless driving and one count each of accident involving death or personal injury, aggravated assault by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property, disregarding traffic lane, vehicle turning left violation, careless driving and failure to stop and give information or render aid.

Weidenheimer reportedly fled the scene of the accident Tuesday night but turned himself in yesterday, according to Lawrence County Deputy Coroner Samuel Teolis, who pronounced Baer dead at the scene.
