Easley, SC : Car crash sends one to the hospital and knocks out power in Easley on Saturday, August 9, 2014
An Anderson County road is blocked, and some homes are without power after a wreck that happened around 8 p.m. Saturday.
South Carolina Highway Patrol confirms that the car crashed into a power pole. Fire officials on scene said the pole plus a transformer are in the middle of St. Paul Road in Easley, and the road is blocked.
Some of the area known as Three and Twenty has no power.
Fire officials on scene said that person was transported to the hospital.
Duke Energy, Highway Patrol and the Three and Twenty Fire Department responded to the scene.
