Monroe, NC : Multi-state high-speed chase ends in crash on U.S. 74 in Monroe on Friday, June 26, 2015

A high-speed chase that reached speeds of more than 100 mph ended Friday with a car flipping at least four times, troopers said.

The chase started in Jefferson, South Carolina, and continued north into North Carolina in the southbound lane of U.S. 601.

Troopers said that at one point the driver was clocked at 114 mph in a 45 mph zone.

The driver ran off the right side of the road on U.S. 74 in Monroe. The car flipped four or five times.

The driver was taken to CMC with minor injuries, according to troopers. No one else was hurt.
