Augusta, GA : A woman has died from injuries she sustained in a wreck on Monday, November, 6th 2017

A woman has died from injuries she sustained in a wreck Monday on Hephzibah McBean Road.

Julia Lewis, 67, of the 2300 block of Dublin Drive, died today at AU Medical Center, according to Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen.

Lewis was a passenger in a vehicle when the driver lost control and overturned around 1:19 p.m. on Monday. She was wearing a seat belt.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office and the coroner’s office are investigating the accident. No autopsy will be performed, Bowen said.
