Columbus, NE : No one transported after three-vehicle collision on Friday, March 17, 2017
Police and rescue units were called to the scene of a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of 23rd Street and 23rd Avenue approximately 9:30 a.m. Friday.
According to initial police reports, a red Dodge Caravan was southbound on 23rd Avenue and entered the intersection where it was struck by a black Toyota Highlander traveling west on 23rd Street. The force of the collision sent the Caravan into the eastbound lanes, where it struck a black Chevrolet Silverado, which was stopped at the traffic light.
Airbags were deployed on the Highlander, but not on the Caravan or the Silverado.
No one was transported to receive medical assistance. One of the drivers was treated by paramedics at the scene.
