Columbus County ,SC :South Carolina police chase ends in crash in Columbus County on Wednesday ,June 10th 2015

A police chase that started in South Carolina ended in a vehicle crash on Highway 904 in Columbus County Wednesday night.

According to Major Bobby Worley of the Columbus County Sheriff's Office, the chase involved Horry County Police.

It's not clear yet why the chase began, or how many people were inside the suspect's vehicle.

The Columbus County Sheriff's Office and North Carolina Highway Patrol were called to the scene of the accident near Tabor City.

Investigators called in a helicopter to take at least one person to the hospital. There's no word yet on their injuries.
