GERMANTOWN, NY : A two-car collision on Friday, June 9, 2017

Columbia County sheriff's deputies are investigating a two-car collision that happened Friday morning that resulted in injuries.
A sedan driven by Dirk Bambeck, 73, of Germantown was pulling out onto Hover Avenue from Dales Bridge Road and into the path of a car northbound on Hover Avenue driven by Dylan Torchia, 31, of Valatie. Torchia had scrapes on his arm and declined medical treatment at the scene.
Bambeck was trapped in the car and had to be removed by Germantown firefighters and taken to Albany Medical Center for a complaint of left side pain.
There were no passengers in either vehicle. At this time, the investigation is continuing and tickets are pending, deputies said.
