LOUISVILLE, KY : 1 dead, another in serious condition after motorcycle crash near Male High School on Friday, 30th August 2024

One person is dead and another is injured after a crash near Male High School Friday evening, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.

Officers responded to a report of a crash in the 4400 block of Preston Highway around 7:30 p.m., LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said.

When officers arrived, they found that a motorcycle with two riders had collided with an SUV. Bradley said neither of the people on the motorcycle were wearing helmets.

Both riders of the motorcycle were taken to UofL Hospital where one died from their injuries, Bradley said. The other remains in serious condition.
