Janesville,WI : Two Janesville squad cars involved in crash during chase on December, Sunday 31st 2017

Two Janesville police vehicles were involved in a crash during a chase through the City of Janesville.

Rock County Communications said the chase began at 7:48 p.m. Sunday. It began after officers spotted a stolen vehicle from another jurisdiction at the intersection of Center Avenue and West State Street in Janesville.

Officials say the chase went through the city and onto the I39/90 and ended on Highway 11, just west of Read Road. Two squad vehicles were involved in a crash during the chase. The officers were not injured in the crash.

Right now, authorities are looking in the area for the suspects. The Janesville Police Department is being assisted by the Rock County Sheriff's Office and Wisconsin State Patrol.
